RealTrace — Leave a trace. Prove the truth.

Leave irrefutable proof for every authentic creation
In an era flooded with AI-generated content, RealTrace uses cryptographic signature chains to generate unforgeable “proof of presence” for every original work. From real-time sealing during creation to TSA timestamp anchoring, human creation can always be traced.

// HOW IT WORKS

Four-Step Sealing Protocol

Full cryptographic protection from creation to verification. No blockchain infrastructure required.

01

Create

Start writing in the RealTrace terminal. The system captures keystroke timing, editing rhythm, and interaction dynamics in real time. All data is processed in local memory only.

02

Stamp

During creation, the system signs content hashes with Ed25519 at fixed intervals, generating an immutable timestamp chain. Each signature is called a "seal", and multiple seals form an auditable signature chain.

03

Seal

The Ed25519 private key signs the content hash, generating a timestamp chain. Content hash, signature, and timestamp form one seal. Six seals constitute an auditable signature chain.

04

Verify

Anyone can verify by entering the certificate ID on the RealTrace verification page, or directly open the offline HTML certificate — the built-in verification logic runs automatically and displays results instantly.

Frequently Asked Questions

RealTrace is a human creation certification platform. During the creative process, the system generates Ed25519 cryptographic signatures (called "seals") on your content inside the browser. Multiple seals form an immutable signature chain and timeline, culminating in a self-contained offline HTML certificate that anyone can verify. Everything happens locally in your browser — no registration, no installation, no content upload required.
A seal is short for "encrypted stamp" — an Ed25519 signature on the current content hash at a specific moment during creation. Each seal contains three parts: the content hash, an accurate timestamp, and a digital signature. Multiple seals are chained together chronologically; tampering with any single seal breaks the integrity of the entire chain. The entire sealing process runs locally in your browser with no external dependencies.
No. All sealing happens locally in browser memory. Content hashes and signature chains are only persisted to your local files when you choose to. The original content never leaves your terminal. The final offline HTML certificate is a self-contained file fully under your control — open it in any browser to verify, with zero network required.
No. RealTrace's trust model is built on cryptography, not consensus mechanisms. The Ed25519 signature chain ensures tamper-proofing, TSA provides optional independent time anchoring, and the offline HTML certificate contains complete built-in verification logic. No blockchain, no mining, no network connection needed — just open your browser and start creating.
Simply open the offline HTML certificate file — it verifies itself automatically. The certificate has built-in verification logic that checks: 1) Whether each seal's Ed25519 signature is valid; 2) Whether the signature chain between seals is continuous; 3) Whether the content hash matches the bound content. The entire process runs fully offline with no network or third-party services required. You can also verify by entering the certificate ID on the RealTrace verification page.
We recommend downloading and saving your HTML certificate file immediately after sealing. RealTrace currently uses a local-first model, so your certificate is entirely in your custody. Future versions will offer cloud certificate hosting services for backup, recovery, and management, making it easy to access your certified records anytime, anywhere.
